Thomas Skadberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kjønstad BF's Thomas Skadberg got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Jim-André Nybakken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarle Volden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim-André Nybakken took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarle Volden. Jarle Volden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Karsten Hveding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Clausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Gunnar Schou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reidar Nordhaug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Hveding having to interfere. William Nordstrøm charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Nordstrøm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jim-André Nybakken took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jarle Volden. Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arne Hageland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarle Volden was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 25 played minutes Kjønstad BF got a freekick which was hit by Reidar Nordhaug. When Julian Clausen fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kjønstad BF's protests and gave Julian Clausen a yellow card for diving instead. Julian Clausen kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jim-André Nybakken scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarle Volden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reidar Nordhaug in the 51st minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Karsten Hveding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim-André Nybakken to maneuver through the defense. In the 80thth minute of the game Jim-André Nybakken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thor Gaarder kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jarle Volden acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jim-André Nybakken. If Karsten Thorkildsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
