Boguslaw Kolano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Martinsson having to make a save. Per Grubb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Waclaw Marud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Screaming Eagles's goalkeeper Michael Martinsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boguslaw Kolano. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Screaming Eagles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustaw Kolbert was slow to take the kick. During this time Joga Bonito's players had a chance to rest. In the 14th minute Boguslaw Kolano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boguslaw Kolano struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Michael Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga Bonito. Waclaw Marud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Pihlwall in the 18th minute of the match. Gustaw Kolbert might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Martinsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaw Kolbert ran back to his position shaking his head. Boguslaw Kolano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Ekström in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waclaw Marud saved Joga Bonito from getting behind. Sebastian Henriksson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Gustaw Kolbert, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Waclaw Marud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Kajetan Jarosz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emanuel Sundén, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wladyslaw Teofila's late challenge caught a Screaming Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wladyslaw Teofila helped the player get up and apologised. Wladyslaw Teofila hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Allan Hammarberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waclaw Marud was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaw Kolbert was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Ekström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waclaw Marud. That made the score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. Gustaw Kolbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Michael Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 72 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Klement Skwira. Emanuel Pihlwall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waclaw Marud came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Pihlwall slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. Michael Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Kolbert in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Allan Hammarberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Screaming Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Kajetan Jarosz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Joga Bonito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Jarosz couldn't finish the play. Gustaw Kolbert struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Michael Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga Bonito. Emanuel Pihlwall did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Waclaw Marud 96 minutes into the match. The Screaming Eagles supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Screaming Eagles would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
