The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adam Svenning kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Atlético Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nacho Atienza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marz Arratia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ståle Skogli in the 8th minute. A collision led to Atlético Municipal getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Alberto Sevane hit a great ball. Firmin Corneja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Finn Eidsvåg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llope Alva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Noah Onstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finn Eidsvåg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Atienza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AEK FC's Noah Onstad got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marz Arratia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ståle Skogli in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, AEK FC's Jonathan Nesse got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 28 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Adam Svenning. Marz Arratia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Snorre Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Municipal's Marz Arratia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Grønningsæter in the 36th minute of play. Finn Eidsvåg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Llope Alva in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Llope Alva came free, but Finn Eidsvåg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Snorre Nygaard to make the kick off. When Firmin Corneja fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Municipal's protests and gave Firmin Corneja a yellow card for diving instead. Firmin Corneja hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of AEK FC booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Solanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Husum, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Atlético Municipal's Marz Arratia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah Onstad in the 59th minute of play. Finn Eidsvåg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firmin Corneja in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes AEK FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Llope Alva who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Llope Alva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AEK FC's Finn Eidsvåg did a great save. Nacho Atienza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Finn Eidsvåg made a huge save. A collision led to Atlético Municipal getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alberto Sevane hit a great ball. Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Zuhaitz Periceira replaced Firmin Corneja. In the 69th match minute, Atlético Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Sevane to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Larrechi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Llope Alva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Municipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Llope Alva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Finn Eidsvåg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th play minute Nacho Atienza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Finn Eidsvåg. 0-1. Marz Arratia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Snorre Nygaard in the 84th minute of the match. Marz Arratia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noah Onstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Finn Eidsvåg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuhaitz Periceira in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Atlético Municipal's Bastiaro Fresco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bastiaro Fresco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlético Municipal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bastiaro Fresco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Larra Sevilla replaced Llope Alva. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
