In the 2nd match minute, SITIO CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Lage to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Azenha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Ghiondea having to interfere. Manuel Estrada kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Saúl Semedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Duldurescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Duldurescu in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saúl Semedo saved SITIO CITY from getting behind. Manole Ghiondea came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by SITIO CITY's João Brás. But to his dismay, João Brás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. João Brás scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manole Ghiondea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adalberto Azenha in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manole Ghiondea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manole Ghiondea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Brás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugen Duldurescu during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Eugen Duldurescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Adalberto Azenha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SITIO CITY's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Azenha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manole Ghiondea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Henriques got free with Manole Ghiondea in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manole Ghiondea made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when João Brás sent off a good shot on target. Saúl Semedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Brăescu in the 39th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when João Brás made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Eugen Duldurescu got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Ponta. After 62 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by David Culcer. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Angélico Eanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SITIO CITY's supporters rose to their feet, but Angélico Eanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manole Ghiondea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manole Ghiondea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Brás in the 64th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Adalberto Azenha put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Manole Ghiondea. João Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugen Duldurescu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Manole Ghiondea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Estrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Saúl Semedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Duldurescu in the 79th minute of play. Angélico Eanes struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Manole Ghiondea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SITIO CITY. 88 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Azenha came free, but Manole Ghiondea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Póvoas in the 93rd minute of play.
