After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Maximilian Dahlquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sundens BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximilian Dahlquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Erlantz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Charmander City getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Generoso Mendebal hit a great ball. Jan-Ove Lindmark took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberto Erlantz. Charmander City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Charmander City's Alberto Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Wickander in the 25th minute of play. Marcus Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Peder Gernberg sped through Charmander City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Erlantz. Marcelo Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Sundens BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Marcelo Gipuzkoa scored to the left of an out of position Marcus Vase, making the score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonatan Stenström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Gregorio Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 57 minutes, Jan-Ove Lindmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ove Lindmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 minutes of play, Charmander City's Ubaldo Benitez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Vase was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcus Vase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Gipuzkoa in the 69th minute of the match. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gipuzkoa in the 73rd minute of play. After 77 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Albert Gernberg. If Ubaldo Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Erlantz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Bock in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Eduino came free, but Marcus Vase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Calisto hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Dolcet to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Jonatan Stenström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Jonatan Stenström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charmander City's Alberto Erlantz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Erlantz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peder Gernberg in the 96th minute. Sundens BK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Charmander City had won, even though Sundens BK had held more of the ball.
