Andrew Scicluna hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Kleen in the 19th minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Wayne Camenzuli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvin Almkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clyde Schembri Zerafa in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Attard Gunners getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Kurt Attard hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Attard. After a rather tough play, Skollholmen FC's Henrik Söderkvist got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Attard Gunners's Lawrence De Marco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Skollholmen FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. David Sundström hit a great ball. Ryan Padovani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Lawrence De Marco scored 2-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvin Almkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Einar Friberger kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence De Marco in the 70th minute of play forced Skollholmen FC's goalkeeper Edvin Almkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvin Almkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Padovani in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Skollholmen FC's Per Sundström got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence De Marco in the 74th minute of play forced Skollholmen FC's goalkeeper Edvin Almkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andrew Scicluna fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attard Gunners's protests and gave Andrew Scicluna a yellow card for diving instead. Andrew Scicluna kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Skollholmen FC's Wayne Camenzuli threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Sundström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th match minute, Attard Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William De Lucca to maneuver through the defense. Attard Gunners were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Skollholmen FC for a fine match.
