Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Tomáš Požgaj sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Tomáš Požgaj made a precise shot to the right of Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein. Orxata I Fartons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Viktor Seno threw the ball into play from the sideline. Orxata I Fartons's Angelo Sacchi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Štefan Semeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Moreira's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orxata I Fartons's Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Orxata I Fartons from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 33rd minute of play forced Orxata I Fartons's goalkeeper Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Sacchi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Orxata I Fartons's Spiro Coca seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Spiro Coca the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Orxata I Fartons protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Spiro Coca had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 36th minute, Spiro Coca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Seno in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Bališ in the 40th minute of play forced Orxata I Fartons's goalkeeper Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Seno made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Orxata I Fartons's 李永乐 á Bø. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomáš Požgaj was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Orxata I Fartons's Al Lofthouse got a free kick in the 51st minute. Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Požgaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Orxata I Fartons's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peter Pekarík was slow to take the kick. During this time AFK Petržalka's players had a chance to rest. In the 63rd minute, Peter Pekarík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orxata I Fartons's Zarando Manrique was substituted for Fausto Moreira. Orxata I Fartons made a substitution. Miroslaw Drab replaced Gregorio Ruiz. The corner ended in Adam Obert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Orxata I Fartons's Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein did a great save. After 68 minutes, Adam Obert made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Orxata I Fartons's Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 李永乐 á Bø couldn't finish the play. AFK Petržalka's Igor Bališ suffered a sore thigh after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 87 played minutes Orxata I Fartons got a freekick which was hit by Zarando Manrique. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 89th minute of play forced Orxata I Fartons's goalkeeper Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orxata I Fartons's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
