Jairo Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4 minutes into the match, RED DEVIL's goal looked a bit too open when Ivor Peake came free, but Ali Cafer Konuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Zecku's Ali Cafer Konuralp threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivor Peake, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fernando Barreiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fernando Barreiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petre Encuțescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Barreiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the game, RED DEVIL's Fernando Barreiros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petre Encuțescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Blas Semeno's late challenge caught a Zecku's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Semeno helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zecku booed when RED DEVIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Semeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivor Peake hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Cássio Rocks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Cafer Konuralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Barreiros in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Encuțescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to RED DEVIL getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alonzo Pello hit a great ball. Lázaro Viator kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Júlio Vaz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half RED DEVIL were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zecku's Lisandro Vidal was substituted for Amadeo Pudes. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cássio Rocks to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Zecku's Petre Encuțescu got control of the ball when Fernando Barreiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, RED DEVIL's Tomás Romo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Fernando Barreiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petre Encuțescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Barreiros ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when Zecku was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Fernando Barreiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petre Encuțescu. Zecku's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Barreiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ali Cafer Konuralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Rocks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Encuțescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Barreiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, RED DEVIL's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Vaz came free, but Ali Cafer Konuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zecku's Cássio Rocks in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RED DEVIL's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th match minute, Zecku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Miliano to maneuver through the defense. RED DEVIL's Ruben Ubarna was substituted for Andrei Ivan. In the 88th match minute, Zecku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Edwardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute RED DEVIL were awarded a corner. Lázaro Viator went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lázaro Viator got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Petre Encuțescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ali Cafer Konuralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. RED DEVIL's Tomás Romo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Zecku booed when RED DEVIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Viator didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zecku's Lisandro Vidal suffered a sore thigh after 98 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ruben Ubarna fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RED DEVIL's protests and gave Ruben Ubarna a yellow card for diving instead. Zecku's Evaristo Millan was substituted for Lisandro Vidal.
