The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Blue Twister Liberec's Jiří Hasman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Egoitz in the 4th minute of play. FC Blue Twister Liberec's Rostislav Křivák got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Rostislav Křivák recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fred Bonk. Rostislav Křivák showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Feyzullay Kocakalp lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Blue Twister Liberec! The referee gave Kjønstad BF a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kjell Alsvik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Blue Twister Liberec's Jiří Hasman. 1-1. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when FC Blue Twister Liberec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Vennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Bonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Matxin in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kjønstad BF's Rasmus Moland got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The corner led to FC Blue Twister Liberec's Ernst Spets getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Orkun Okan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fred Bonk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Blue Twister Liberec's Cleto Matxin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fred Bonk. That made the score 2-1 after 44 minutes of play. Andrej Buday blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred Bonk having to make a save. Kjønstad BF made a substitution. Raymond Engevik replaced Celso Cedro. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Matxin was the one to do the kick off. FC Blue Twister Liberec's Andrej Buday suffered a sore thigh after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cato Mong's late challenge caught a FC Blue Twister Liberec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cato Mong helped the player get up and apologised. FC Blue Twister Liberec made a substitution. Tomáš Císař replaced Andrej Buday. Cato Mong kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Kjønstad BF's Fred Bonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Matxin in the 57th minute of play. FC Blue Twister Liberec's Jiří Hasman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Blue Twister Liberec from getting a goal against them. Kjønstad BF's Yu Ying Xiao was substituted for Rasmus Moland. If Kjell Alsvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, FC Blue Twister Liberec's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Alsvik came free, but Jiří Hasman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Bonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Matxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rostislav Křivák hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The long shot by Tolga Şakib in the 95th minute really tested Jiří Hasman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Blue Twister Liberec fully deserved thier win.
