The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fred Bonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Yaşam in the 2nd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Sarı kaya FK's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Cedro came free, but Ahmet Ege Yalaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Celso Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ege Yalaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Bonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayrettin Yaşam in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Sarı kaya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celil Nebahattin to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Hayrettin Yaşam came free, but Fred Bonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's Kjell Alsvik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Ege Yalaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fred Bonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Alsvik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ahmet Ege Yalaz made a huge save. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Yalaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Kjønstad BF's Celso Cedro in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarı kaya FK's goalie prevented a goal. If Kjell Alsvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell Alsvik got free with Ahmet Ege Yalaz in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan came free, but Fred Bonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Çağrı Polatkılıç lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ahmet Ege Yalaz had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Kjell Alsvik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Sarı kaya FK defense, Kjell Alsvik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Ege Yalaz. The Sarı kaya FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Ege Yalaz should have stopped the shot. Kjønstad BF made a substitution. Raymond Engevik replaced Celso Cedro. Sarı kaya FK's Ayhan Baştürk was substituted for Serafim Mangueira. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raymond Engevik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Alsvik in the 58th minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Yalaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Gökhan Zane threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sarı kaya FK's Turan Türünk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gökhan Zane made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rene Egoitz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raymond Engevik in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Ege Yalaz saved Sarı kaya FK from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Raymond Engevik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kjønstad BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 70th minute, Tayfur Savni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarı kaya FK made a substitution. Hasan Hüseyin Kayaalp replaced Tayfur Savni. A collision led to Sarı kaya FK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tayfur Savni hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes Sarı kaya FK got a freekick which was hit by Kent Drake. 73 minutes into the match, Sarı kaya FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tolga Şakib came free, but Ahmet Ege Yalaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Hayrettin Yaşam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarı kaya FK and the Kjønstad BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hayrettin Yaşam kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Alsvik in the 76th minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Yalaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmílson Prata hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ayhan Baştürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Bonk having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Kjell Alsvik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Ege Yalaz. Sarı kaya FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kjell Alsvik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Ali Erdem Türel kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
