Ahmet Ege Yalaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomil Frankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Leonard Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hayrettin Yaşam to make the kick off. AA Bełchatów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Çağrı Polatkılıç ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Çağrı Polatkılıç got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonard Rosen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayrettin Yaşam in the 82nd minute of play forced AA Bełchatów's goalkeeper Leonard Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Rosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayrettin Yaşam, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Hayrettin Yaşam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Rosen having to interfere. Hayrettin Yaşam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Leonard Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Sarı kaya FK were the better team. Sarı kaya FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
