With a little luck, Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck got control of the ball when Pál Polyák tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chiquinho Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norrlands Athen's Du Le Jun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chiquinho Pereira, made in the 29th minute of the game. Manfred Fribäck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pál Polyák in the 31st minute. Pál Polyák received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manfred Fribäck came out and tried to block the shot, but Pál Polyák slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 42nd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pál Polyák made a kick off. SITIO CITY made a substitution. Kajetan Paulista replaced Pawel Czubski. Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pál Polyák in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's Erik Ljusberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Lage narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kajetan Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. SITIO CITY's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
