Telmo Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tosh Goodwin in the 8th minute. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Velasco came free, but Vincent Blakeley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbson Velasco took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Blakeley. Vincent Blakeley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vincent Blakeley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Velasco in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Whieldon to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Proença hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Telmo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Marler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Callegari's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joaquin Isoba in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tosh Goodwin made a kick off. Vincent Blakeley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Pinheiro in the 52nd minute of play. Róbson Velasco in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vincent Blakeley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Róbson Velasco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Vincent Blakeley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Callegari's Róbson Velasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vincent Blakeley. Vincent Blakeley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Telmo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Marler, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 77th minute Matthew Brookman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Guerrero struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Vincent Blakeley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Callegari. In the 86th minute, Callegari's Eduardo Guerrero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. 89 minutes into the match, Matthew Brookman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Almeida. Callegari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthew Brookman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-8. The Callegari supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Callegari would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
