King Junior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Björk in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Falk came free, but King Junior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 14 in the game by Gheorghe Taşcău from a close distance when the talented Christer Ahlgren managed to make a qualified save. Övertorneå RK's players were relieved. Kobra TEAM were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Övertorneå RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlo Bracchi took the corner. At last the ball reached Cazimir Corbeanu at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Övertorneå RK. 2-0. Gheorghe Taşcău came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christer Ahlgren could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Taşcău in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Ahlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kobra TEAM's King Junior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Falk in the 29th minute of play. When Kobra TEAM's Gheorghe Taşcău in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Övertorneå RK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Gheorghe Taşcău who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Övertorneå RK's Christer Ahlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christer Ahlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gheorghe Taşcău in the 41st minute. Marcus Olsman made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tage Falk. 47 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Taşcău came free, but Christer Ahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Tage Falk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but King Junior made a huge save. Gheorghe Taşcău might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christer Ahlgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gheorghe Taşcău ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Taşcău in the 54th minute of play forced Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Christer Ahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Asplund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without King Junior having to interfere. Kobra TEAM's George Mineață was substituted for Cazimir Corbeanu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gheorghe Taşcău in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Ahlgren saved Övertorneå RK from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Aristides Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Övertorneå RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Ahlgren should have stopped the shot.
