Spectators: 500 (Terracing: 376, Seating: 115, VIP seats: 9) Fajteri's Eliseo Mano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Eliseo Mano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 5 played minutes San Diego FC got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Kemal Çetinel. 8 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Yusuf Stegen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute Dainius Bagdonas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostja Vertot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dainius Bagdonas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kostja Vertot came out and tried to block the shot, but Dainius Bagdonas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. Kostja Vertot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dainius Bagdonas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Mano in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yusuf Stegen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Fajteri booed when San Diego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddy Bourasseau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Mano might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yusuf Stegen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mano ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Yusuf Stegen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Eliseo Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricijo Kumar's late challenge caught a San Diego FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricijo Kumar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Patricijo Kumar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dainius Bagdonas was the one to do the kick off. Štefan Saje hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, San Diego FC's Talip Ecemiş tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. San Diego FC's Yusuf Stegen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save San Diego FC from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Mustafa Kemal Çetinel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Manos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Yusuf Stegen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Štefan Saje kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fajteri's Eliseo Mano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yusuf Stegen. That made the score 1-3 after 62 minutes of play. 66 minutes into the match, San Diego FC's goalkeeper Yusuf Stegen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Mano. Fajteri's Feručo Camlek was substituted for Tiburcio Abadie. Fajteri's Armando Vogrinčič was substituted for Eliseo Mano. In the 69th minute Fajteri were awarded a corner. Ersan Šokčević went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ersan Šokčević got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yusuf Stegen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. San Diego FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Armando Vogrinčič scored to the left of an out of position Yusuf Stegen, making the score, 1-5. Mustafa Kemal Çetinel charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Kemal Çetinel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes San Diego FC got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Kemal Çetinel. If Armando Vogrinčič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yusuf Stegen made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Armando Vogrinčič sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Armando Vogrinčič dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yusuf Stegen, 1-6. Yusuf Stegen was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Armando Vogrinčič capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armando Vogrinčič really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7.
