Joinville United - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Imbituba - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arne Offendahl took the corner. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Rafa Marques managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Evgeniy Bakov in the 57 minute of the game. Joinville United - FSCMZ made a substitution. Tostão Montenegro replaced Didi Cardozo. A sloppy throw-in by Fernando Vale in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Greg Drysdale. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ersan Ergüleç in the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Montenegro in the 97th minute of play forced Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Sidney Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Imbituba - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
