The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Uriel Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fazul Mwaura, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Ladislao Harriet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Paul Ogot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ladislao Harriet sped through Tatooine Local Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paul Ogot. If Gerson Cruzado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ladislao Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ladislao Harriet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Paul Ogot made a huge save. Uriel Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Wanjohi in the 24th minute of play. When Tatooine Local Club's Charles Wambui in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Empire of Soccer's goalie prevented a goal. Uriel Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Wambui in the 30th minute of the match. Ladislao Harriet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Ogot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tatooine Local Club defense, Ladislao Harriet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Ogot. The Tatooine Local Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Ogot should have stopped the shot. Ladislao Harriet had several of the Tatooine Local Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Paul Ogot as he didn't even see the shot coming. Uriel Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Kagai Kipsos in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazul Mwaura in the 44th minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Uriel Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gerson Cruzado came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Empire of Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Cruzado couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Timmy Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Ogot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Wambui made a kick off. Tatooine Local Club's Paul Ogot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 51st minute of play. Ladislao Harriet took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Ogot. Paul Ogot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Uriel Malvin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 57 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Ogot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paul Ogot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Empire of Soccer's Uriel Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fazul Mwaura in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Harriet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Ogot was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 62nd minute of play forced Tatooine Local Club's goalkeeper Paul Ogot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Ogot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Harriet's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ladislao Harriet notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Tatooine Local Club's Paul Ogot. Paul Ogot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Empire of Soccer made a substitution. Xanthos Fikias replaced Natalio Blanco. Ladislao Harriet struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Paul Ogot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empire of Soccer. Ladislao Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paul Ogot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Empire of Soccer booed when Tatooine Local Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Lagat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Empire of Soccer's Uriel Malvin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Empire of Soccer from getting a goal against them. Tatooine Local Club's Paul Ogot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Sandberg in the 87th minute of play. Paul Ogot came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet. But to his dismay, Ladislao Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Furo Bolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tatooine Local Club's Paul Ogot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Cruzado in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Empire of Soccer had won after a very even match.
