An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Collins in the 5th minute of play forced Kiryat Gat's goalkeeper Bonifacio Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, FC Johannesburg's goal looked a bit too open when Jared Wolfman came free, but Nazeer Dinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Jared Wolfman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nazeer Dinha. FC Johannesburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jared Wolfman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to FC Johannesburg getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Soloman Patel hit a great ball. Nazeer Dinha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jared Wolfman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nazeer Dinha was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Amnon Mitta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amnon Mitta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 21st minute of the match Kiryat Gat got a corner. FC Johannesburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafino Tavio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amnon Mitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazeer Dinha having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jared Wolfman in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nazeer Dinha saved FC Johannesburg from getting behind. When Kiryat Gat's Jared Wolfman in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Johannesburg's goalie prevented a goal. Nazeer Dinha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amnon Mitta in the 32nd minute. Nazeer Dinha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jared Wolfman's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th match minute, FC Johannesburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsyn Grieve to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, Kiryat Gat's Tomas Gabrielsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nazeer Dinha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. FC Johannesburg's Nazeer Dinha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save FC Johannesburg from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Kiryat Gat's Jared Wolfman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nazeer Dinha. That made the score 4-0 after 42 minutes of play. Amnon Mitta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nazeer Dinha having to make a save. FC Johannesburg's Nazeer Dinha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save FC Johannesburg from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silas Collins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Wilfredo Murphy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiryat Gat's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Murphy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nazeer Dinha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nazeer Dinha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amnon Mitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, FC Johannesburg's goal looked a bit too open when Amnon Mitta came free, but Nazeer Dinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carsyn Grieve was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, FC Johannesburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsyn Grieve to maneuver through the defense.
