After 32 minutes of play, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Grande was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloisio Munet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilhelm Galle having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aloisio Munet. After the first half Kind of Blue were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aloisio Munet to strike the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by 石光峰 in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kind of Blue's Joel Barbosa. Ilkay Gündoğan made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aloisio Munet. Sebastian Käller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ian Grande made a huge save. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Vincent Kellbom replaced Zhuo Ke Le. Kind of Blue's Inge Ahlquist was substituted for Jonny Lagerberg. In the 75th match minute, R.B Leipzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 石光峰 to maneuver through the defense. Ian Grande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Käller's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With a little luck, R.B Leipzig's Ian Grande got control of the ball when Sebastian Käller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Ian Grande successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sebastian Käller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Grande having to interfere. The R.B Leipzig fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kind of Blue were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
