Kalle Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Fredriksson in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Ted Holmgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sundborn IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaloyan Mitashev got free with Toni Schumacher in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richard Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kalle Askberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Hansson to maneuver through the defense. Richard Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Askberg having to interfere. In the 28th minute Börje Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Schumacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joachim Svensson fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundborn IF's protests and gave Joachim Svensson a yellow card for diving instead. Joachim Svensson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Richard Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FC Bullen's Tord Hökkvist got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Fredriksson came free, but Kalle Askberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Richard Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Merexildo in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jan Håning hit a great ball. Kalle Askberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th minute, Tord Hökkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Bullen's Gustav Helander got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Sven-Olof Stephansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toni Schumacher skillfully saved the ball. Richard Fredriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Kalle Askberg made a huge save. In the 66thth minute of the game Börje Ekström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bullen's Toni Schumacher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kaloyan Mitashev took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toni Schumacher. Toni Schumacher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. FC Bullen's Andy Beckman was substituted for Gustavo Lopes. Sundborn IF's Kjell Holmberg was substituted for Jan Håning. Sundborn IF made a substitution. Simon Wallin replaced Ted Holmgren. FC Bullen's Verner Hägert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aqşin Aläkbärov in the 74 minute of the game. Kalle Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Richard Fredriksson could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Kalle Askberg however easily saved by the left post. Toni Schumacher came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Sundborn IF's Kaloyan Mitashev. But to his dismay, Kaloyan Mitashev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Fredriksson in the 96th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sundborn IF were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Bullen for much of the match.
