An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Gerber in the 52nd minute of play forced Trem das Onze's goalkeeper Ricky Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes, Chico Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trem das Onze and the SERRANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The coaching staff of SERRANO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nadir Bencherif had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Luizão Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ricky Blake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Perez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. SERRANO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vincent McGorrie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Trem das Onze booed when SERRANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çelikan Başsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Arlindo Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SERRANO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trem das Onze the free kick. Arlindo Rossi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Trem das Onze failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
