But to his dismay, Falcão Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nelson da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Borges in the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Cláudio Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Social Futebol Clube's Nelson da Silveira got control of the ball when Juvenal Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Social Futebol Clube's Rodriguinho Porto got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Borges in the 92nd minute of play forced Social Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Nelson da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Torreão OFF played a much better game than Social Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Social Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
