Edmund Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Schurter in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match Espen Steelers got a corner. Hungarian Olympic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Williams Imholz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Espen Steelers's corner Williams Imholz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lukács Bánhegyi quite easily take care of the ball. Lukács Bánhegyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Berset in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Giacometti to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Honauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Montez in the 16th minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Lukács Bánhegyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoltán Stieber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fabian Honauer made a huge save. In the 18th minute Hungarian Olympic were awarded a corner. Zoltán Stieber went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 21stth minute of the game Alain Berset who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lukács Bánhegyi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alain Berset's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Ernesto Belarmo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Honauer came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernesto Belarmo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Rogelio Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukács Bánhegyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Montez came free, but Lukács Bánhegyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Belarmo got free with Fabian Honauer in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zoltán Stieber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Montez came free, but Lukács Bánhegyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Mátyás Zakariás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Honauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Berset in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Lukács Bánhegyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nino Schurter in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Giacometti came free, but Lukács Bánhegyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Honauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mátyás Zakariás in the 57th minute of the match. Ernesto Belarmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungarian Olympic's Per-Oskar Walroth was substituted for Zoltán Stieber. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Hassan Schürch replaced Williams Imholz. Espen Steelers's Stan Wawrinka was substituted for Rogelio Montez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 77th minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Lukács Bánhegyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when Hungarian Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukács Bánhegyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi got control of the ball when Stan Wawrinka tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Hungarian Olympic getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ernesto Belarmo hit a great ball. Fabian Honauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Belarmo in the 95th minute of the match.
