The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Sirius Black had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciccio Tacconi. NFC Eagles 22's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sirius Black was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stano Štoch got free with Ciccio Tacconi in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tanek Daszkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Houwing in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doriva Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciccio Tacconi made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Daniel Mikla sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanek Daszkowski in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doriva Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sirius Black in the 14th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. Doriva Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Daszkowski in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Daniel Mikla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciccio Tacconi. The goal made the score 2-0. Tanek Daszkowski took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doriva Reis. Doriva Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pa-Dembo Bumbac got free with Ciccio Tacconi in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doriva Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Daszkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Raymond Schouten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Pa-Dembo Bumbac made a precise shot to the right of Ciccio Tacconi. NFC Eagles 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Ciccio Tacconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pa-Dembo Bumbac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanek Daszkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sirius Black in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Pa-Dembo Bumbac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Tacconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stano Štoch in the 57th minute of play. V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Janko in the 58th minute. V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's Pa-Dembo Bumbac was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciccio Tacconi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Mikla in the 63rd minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Sirius Black shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Tacconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciccio Tacconi came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's Daniel Mikla. But to his dismay, Daniel Mikla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Stano Štoch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. NFC Eagles 22's Jeroen Heerckes was substituted for Emil Houwing. In the 80th minute of the game Erik Króner made a throw-in which Pa-Dembo Bumbac played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pa-Dembo Bumbac in the 85th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Pa-Dembo Bumbac came free, but Ciccio Tacconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's Doriva Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Daszkowski in the 93rd minute of play. Raymond Schouten was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The V.K.DRINK Hermanovce fans cheered their team off the field, for while NFC Eagles 22 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
