Viktor Ödmann hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jörgen Biörkquist, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Skollholmen FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Skollholmen FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jörgen Biörkquist in the 31st minute. A collision led to Youth Academy Of Rhye getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lars Ivarsson hit a great ball. Erland Alebom's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Jonathan Vallin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Erland Alebom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Vallin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Nyberg in the 43rd minute of play forced Youth Academy Of Rhye's goalkeeper Jonathan Vallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Vallin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erland Alebom in the 44th minute. If Ture Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Çağrı Torehan took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Måns Sigfridsson to make any attempt to save it. In the 60th minute Ture Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Vallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Youth Academy Of Rhye's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Alebom came free, but Jonathan Vallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Skollholmen FC booed when Youth Academy Of Rhye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Corderall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skollholmen FC's Ture Nyberg got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
