Despite this Horacio Lalla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 13 minutes into the match, CERVEZA CALIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Rosario came free, but Horacio Lalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Rosario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Lalla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Teobaldo Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Lalla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. After 20 minutes, Conrado Stanislao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. S. D. Pueyrredón and the CERVEZA CALIENTE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Conrado Stanislao hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Godofredo Bras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Teobaldo Rosario charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Rosario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teobaldo Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Lalla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. Godofredo Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pueyrredón's Halil İbrahim Yeltekin was substituted for Roch Siekierka. After a rather tough play, CERVEZA CALIENTE's Cléberson Gomes got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Eustacio Gora came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the CERVEZA CALIENTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Gora couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Rosario was the one to do the kick off. 65 minutes into the match, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Teobaldo Rosario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horacio Lalla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Godofredo Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri De Poorter in the 67th minute of play. CERVEZA CALIENTE's Eduardo Diagur was substituted for Moises Mogel. In the 70th minute CERVEZA CALIENTE were awarded a corner. Bernabe Sauveur went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on CERVEZA CALIENTE's corner Mariano Cordero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Godofredo Bras quite easily take care of the ball. Camilo Enaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Godofredo Bras made a huge save. Teobaldo Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Lalla having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléberson Gomes in the 82nd minute of play forced C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalkeeper Godofredo Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CERVEZA CALIENTE's zone, Teobaldo Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Lalla came out of the goal and Teobaldo Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, CERVEZA CALIENTE's Cléber Cavalcante got a free kick in the 85th minute. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Albano Lastur with Cléberson Gomes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
