The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Leones Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Contra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Leones Futbol Club's zone, Stasio Bienienda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Guillelmus came out of the goal and Stasio Bienienda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Zhao Sen Yang made the kick off in the second half. After 61 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Leones Futbol Club's Mauricio Guillelmus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Diki Doro made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Dennis Andreozzi sent off a good shot on target. Leones Futbol Club's Wilson Dantas was substituted for Eustacio Amaya. 72 minutes into the match, Leones Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wielopolski came free, but Mauricio Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
