Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nedko Tzokev started the match with the kick off. Dudan Kuncoro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Suryo Zaelani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georgi Asparuhov in the 6th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Anak Junior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stoyadin Shahov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anak Junior in the 15th minute of play. Stoyadin Shahov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anak Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Anak Junior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Suryo Zaelani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neno Nozharov, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Stoyadin Shahov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Bachtiar in the 27th minute of the match. Yoakim Nakov hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Arso Rangachev in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U21 Indonesia's Fitrah Bagjanata. 37 minutes into the match, U21 Bulgaria's goal looked a bit too open when Anak Junior came free, but Stoyadin Shahov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Bulgaria's Stoyadin Shahov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anak Junior in the 41st minute of play. Stoyadin Shahov came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Indonesia's Anak Junior. But to his dismay, Anak Junior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anak Junior stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, U21 Bulgaria's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dudan Kuncoro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, U21 Indonesia's Uut Bastari got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Aleksandro Nesta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Malin Sivchev fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Bulgaria's protests and gave Malin Sivchev a yellow card for diving instead. Anak Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Stoyadin Shahov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anak Junior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Stoyadin Shahov made a huge save. Anak Junior received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stoyadin Shahov came out and tried to block the shot, but Anak Junior slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 83rd minute. Anak Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stoyadin Shahov made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Anak Junior sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th match minute, U21 Indonesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aras Bachtiar to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes of play, U21 Bulgaria's Georgi Asparuhov made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Suryo Zaelani was left in no man's land by his defense there! U21 Indonesia's Suryo Zaelani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georgi Asparuhov in the 95th minute of play. The U21 Bulgaria manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing U21 Indonesia to win.
