In the 24th minute, Alekos Roubakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fragiskos Saitiotis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Timos Kiakis's late challenge caught a GREEN PANTHERS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timos Kiakis helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akis Mantarinopoulos in the 37th minute of play forced O.T.E's goalkeeper Sakis Tavlaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, GREEN PANTHERS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alekos Roubakis came free, but Fragiskos Saitiotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alekos Roubakis scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fragiskos Saitiotis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sakis Tavlaridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Mantarinopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marios Mostratos was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Marios Mostratos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. GREEN PANTHERS FC's Aris Petrochilos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akis Mantarinopoulos in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakis Tavlaridis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iason Papadimoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Sakis Tavlaridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Petrochilos in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of O.T.E booed when GREEN PANTHERS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Petrochilos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sakis Tavlaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marios Mostratos in the 88th minute of the match. Sakis Tavlaridis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when GREEN PANTHERS FC's Akis Mantarinopoulos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. GREEN PANTHERS FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
