Okanalp Ispartalı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Portela having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Sendoa in the 22nd minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Rui Portela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Polentzi came free, but Rui Portela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, FC Alumiara SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Polentzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Saúl Macena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in GD JULIO DINIS's zone, Mario Sendoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Portela came out of the goal and Mario Sendoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Paião came free, but Rui Portela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Portela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Sendoa in the 37th minute of play. Gerardo Polentzi took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Portela. Rui Portela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

FC Alumiara SD's Paulino Paião managed to work through GD JULIO DINIS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Paulino Paião dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 75th minute Gerardo Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Portela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led FC Alumiara SD's Okanalp Ispartalı to fire away a dangerous shot which Rui Portela despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gerardo Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Portela having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Paulino Paião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The GD JULIO DINIS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Alumiara SD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
