Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leopoldo Fernanco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amador Bautista made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Leopoldo Fernanco sent off a good shot on target. Ceferino Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Amador Bautista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Fernanco in the 6th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ELMUÑE! Amador Bautista had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Antonio Madeo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Amador Bautista came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Celta de Virgos's Antonio Madeo. But to his dismay, Antonio Madeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 15th minute Eleuterio Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ELMUÑE's Eleuterio Urko managed to work through Celta de Virgos's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eleuterio Urko dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. ELMUÑE's Amador Bautista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save ELMUÑE from getting a goal against them. Fabio Figueroa got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bonifacio Admon. Celta de Virgos's Ceferino Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Fraco in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Celestino Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Admon in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Fraco during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ELMUÑE's Narciso Fraco got a free kick in the 36th minute. Leopoldo Fernanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Amador Bautista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Fraco in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceferino Austin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celta de Virgos's Ceferino Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Urko in the 45th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Celta de Virgos got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Ermengol. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Leopoldo Fernanco scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Bautista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Leopoldo Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, ELMUÑE's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Fernanco came free, but Amador Bautista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Leopoldo Fernanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celta de Virgos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Fernanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celta de Virgos's Roque Silviano was substituted for Cosme Montrell. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. Fernan Moise replaced Arnoldo Poz. Arnoldo Florian might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amador Bautista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Florian ran back to his position shaking his head. Amador Bautista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Florian in the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of Celta de Virgos booed when ELMUÑE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Cosme Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Celta de Virgos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Fero to maneuver through the defense. ELMUÑE's Alvaro Azubeli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ceferino Austin but with some difficulty. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind ELMUÑE's goalkeeper Amador Bautista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
