The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of C.A. Línea Rotativa booed when Barreal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Dorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's goalkeeper Salvador Pasqual had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Feliu. After 9 minutes, Niceto Leguizamón mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreal FC and the C.A. Línea Rotativa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niceto Leguizamón hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Honorato Ursino got a free kick in the 13th minute. 30 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's goalkeeper Salvador Pasqual had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Rosalio. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Leguizamón in the 52nd minute of play forced C.A. Línea Rotativa's goalkeeper Salvador Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Rosalio in the 54th minute of play. Salvador Pasqual didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Efraim went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute Tomás Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Línea Rotativa's Salvador Pasqual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Feliu in the 92nd minute of play. When Niceto Leguizamón was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. In the 95th minute, Niceto Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match, Honorato Ursino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgard Urdaspal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barreal FC fully deserved thier win.
