He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MZ Wodzisław Śląski reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Gruchacz in the 19th minute of play forced MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goalkeeper Benedykt Marosz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Lepucki kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Gruchacz came free, but Benedykt Marosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fryderyk Pluciennik was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Kania Gostyń's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Boguslaw Marosz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezary Gruchacz during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cezary Gruchacz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Boguslaw Marosz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Mielak having to make a save. After a rather tough play, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Radoslaw Zakrzewski got a free kick in the 59th minute. The shot was stopped by Edward Mielak but with some difficulty. 64 minutes into the game, one of Kania Gostyń:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute MZ Wodzisław Śląski were awarded a corner. Radomir Marud went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kania Gostyń's goalie and right to Zenon Bejrut. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kania Gostyń's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 72 minutes, Boruc Karbowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kania Gostyń and the MZ Wodzisław Śląski players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Kania Gostyń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Karbowski to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Pluciennik came free, but Benedykt Marosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Boguslaw Marosz got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Feliks Bronder got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Radoslaw Frenzel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedykt Marosz skillfully saved the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
