Ding Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Pinheiro in the 9th minute of play. Tirant lo Blanch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvinho Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Felipo Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dabi Barba in the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Tirant lo Blanch's Carlos Loureiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felipo Ramirez. Felipo Ramirez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 40th minute, Tirant lo Blanch's Carlos Loureiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Chinto Buenafuente came free, but Ding Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pfullendorf's zone, Carlos Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipo Ramirez came out of the goal and Carlos Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chinto Buenafuente was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Chinto Buenafuente came free, but Ding Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erlantz Coya during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The throw-in from Paco Camarasa in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Pfullendorf's Erlantz Coya. With a little luck, Tirant lo Blanch's Ding Kahn got control of the ball when Silvinho Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Pfullendorf's attentive Erlantz Coya managed to snatch the ball when Paco Camarasa made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Carlos Loureiro scored 3-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipo Ramirez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Pfullendorf's Felipo Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Loureiro in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Loureiro in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipo Ramirez saved SC Pfullendorf from getting behind. SC Pfullendorf's Felipo Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Loureiro in the 85th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Carlos Loureiro made a precise shot to the right of Felipo Ramirez. SC Pfullendorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Tirant lo Blanch players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
