Aristides Albert was slow to take the kick. During this time ☠QUINTERO☠'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led to ☠QUINTERO☠'s Romano Galan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Damián Albages blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferrando Magallanes having to make a save. Aristides Albert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ferrando Magallanes made a huge save. Ferrando Magallanes made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Aristides Albert sent off a good shot on target. Damián Albages's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferrando Magallanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Efraín Soler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. José Alberto Patterson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Capo de Provincia booed when ☠QUINTERO☠ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lolo Lavandero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efraín Soler to make the kick off. In the 70th minute, Efraín Soler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Capo de Provincia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Capo de Provincia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
