At last the ball reached Tommy Almstedt at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Atlético Åkarp United. 0-1. Kalle Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kalle Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Boström in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalle Söderström saved Atlético Åkarp United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Boström in the 21st minute of play forced Atlético Åkarp United's goalkeeper Kalle Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Atlético Åkarp United defense, Arne Blomqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Söderström. The Atlético Åkarp United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Söderström should have stopped the shot. Gilbert Boström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Pepsi's Arne Blomqvist fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Atlético Åkarp United's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Lundkvist came free, but Kalle Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Åkarp United's Kalle Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Blomqvist in the 36th minute of play. Gilbert Boström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kalle Söderström having to make a save. FC Pepsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Blomqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gilbert Boström came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Pepsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Boström couldn't finish the play. Kalle Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Blomqvist in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Arne Blomqvist made the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Boström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Atlético Åkarp United's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Blomqvist came free, but Kalle Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalle Söderström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Blomqvist's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Kalle Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kalle Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Blomqvist in the 62nd minute of play. After 72 minutes, Oskar Hedin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pepsi and the Atlético Åkarp United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Pelle Söderberg made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Arne Pihlgren. FC Pepsi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. FC Pepsi's Sven-Arne Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Söderberg in the 78th minute of play. August Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kalle Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Conny Stålnacke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over FC Pepsi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlético Åkarp United throughout the match.
