With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronnie Mullen in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iswadi Monginsidi saved BuanaRaya from getting behind. Dakar Olympique's Lewis Cunningham got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute Ronnie Mullen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iswadi Monginsidi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Laverick in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iswadi Monginsidi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Ronnie Mullen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BuanaRaya's Iswadi Monginsidi. Iswadi Monginsidi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Tommy Laverick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iswadi Monginsidi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Donny Ploughman in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BuanaRaya's Ignatius Kuswoyo. Thomas Muttaqien charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Muttaqien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BuanaRaya getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Thomas Muttaqien hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Udin Sutikno to make the kick off. If Ronnie Mullen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BuanaRaya's Iswadi Monginsidi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save BuanaRaya from getting a goal against them. Ronnie Mullen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Iswadi Monginsidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Dakar Olympique booed when BuanaRaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Hakim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Muttaqien struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rory Davenport didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BuanaRaya. Iswadi Monginsidi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronnie Mullen in the 93rd minute of the match. Ronnie Mullen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Iswadi Monginsidi made a huge save. Dakar Olympique played a much better game than BuanaRaya and deserved their victory. The BuanaRaya players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
