Spectators: 961 (Terracing: 721, Seating: 221, VIP seats: 19) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edvin Bredesen started the match with the kick off. When Gard Borlaug fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gædd FK's protests and gave Gard Borlaug a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund got control of the ball when Ove Svingen tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Runar Molland hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes, Gædd FK's Sebastian Helgesen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jon-Inge Kolberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gædd FK reached it. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Sebastian Helgesen with Frode Rosenlund as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dan Høines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Andreas Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frode Rosenlund's late challenge caught a The Nerd Herd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frode Rosenlund helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Frode Rosenlund. Ove Svingen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Andreas Berglund made a huge save. With a little luck, Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund got control of the ball when Ove Svingen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gædd FK's Edvin Bredesen got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Berglund made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Dan Høines sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute of the match The Nerd Herd got a corner. Gædd FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Birk Rognstad ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led The Nerd Herd's Birk Rognstad to fire away a dangerous shot which Andreas Berglund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 39th minute Edvin Bredesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon-Inge Kolberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon-Inge Kolberg came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Gædd FK's Edvin Bredesen. But to his dismay, Edvin Bredesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Edvin Bredesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jon-Inge Kolberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Høines to strike the kick off in the second half. Ove Svingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Berglund having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Gædd FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frode Rosenlund to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gædd FK booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjetil Osen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Nerd Herd's Jon-Inge Kolberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Helgesen in the 59th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Edvin Bredesen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jon-Inge Kolberg. Edvin Bredesen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Bjarte Buene lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Gædd FK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bjarte Buene hit a great ball. Andreas Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birk Rognstad in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Alf-Inge Hol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jon-Inge Kolberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alf-Inge Hol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon-Inge Kolberg having to interfere. Andreas Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Svingen, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Axel Norland hit a great ball. Alf-Inge Hol struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jon-Inge Kolberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gædd FK. The The Nerd Herd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gædd FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Gædd FK.
