David Neto's late challenge caught a Argerich F. Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Neto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Arquímedes's David Neto got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Lorenzo Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Luis Elija fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arquímedes's protests and gave Luis Elija a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Luis Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Loramendi came free, but Leonel Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Moises Cayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Moises Cayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arquímedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Cayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Quexal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelino Cresitobalo was the one to do the kick off. Leonel Quexal came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Arquímedes's Ovidio Perpinya. But to his dismay, Ovidio Perpinya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Moises Cayo scored 4-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Quexal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute of the match Baldomiro Indartsu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Quexal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Manuel Loramendi sped through Argerich F. Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonel Quexal. Leonel Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Loramendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Leonel Quexal came out of the goal and Ovidio Perpinya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ovidio Perpinya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Quexal was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Ovidio Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
