Spectators: 207 (Terracing: 156, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orlando Flores started the match with the kick off. Club Deportivo Águila's David Braun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Águila from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Flores in the 8th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Astor Sobrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Orlo Rujula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CERRO PORTEÑO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of CERRO PORTEÑO booed when Club Deportivo Águila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Peña didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giraldo Laiseca got free with David Braun in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Ebro to maneuver through the defense. Astor Sobrido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Flores in the 22nd minute of play. David Braun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claude Ebro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. If Giraldo Laiseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Astor Sobrido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félix Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Claude Ebro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Braun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CERRO PORTEÑO's Claude Ebro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Astor Sobrido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félix Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xabat Lariz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised David Braun 37 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Orlando Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Sobrido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Orlo Rujula made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Orlo Rujula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Deportivo Águila getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Saul Viscarra hit a great ball. When Xabat Lariz fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CERRO PORTEÑO's protests and gave Xabat Lariz a yellow card for diving instead. If Orlo Rujula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Giraldo Laiseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Pimentel came free, but Astor Sobrido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabat Lariz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Orlando Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Águila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Flores was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Braun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claude Ebro went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Xabat Lariz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Braun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xabat Lariz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CERRO PORTEÑO had won after a very even match.
