With his leg Gaspar Yanes managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Intimos de Reynoso's Jaen Barrallo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Atlético Grau Piura getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Martin Barreda hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Tavo Arrelucea sped through Atlético Grau Piura's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaspar Yanes. 31 minutes into the game, Isaio Cobarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intimos de Reynoso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Grau Piura the free kick. Isaio Cobarrubias hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The Atlético Grau Piura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Yanes should have stopped the shot. Leonardo Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Jaen Barrallo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 44th match minute, Atlético Grau Piura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juanito Onis to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Lazaro Guedeja sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Yanes skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

If Tavo Arrelucea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Yanes came out of the goal and Jaen Barrallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tavo Arrelucea kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Grau Piura's Salbatore Olaverrieta got a free kick in the 70th minute. Tavo Arrelucea struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gaspar Yanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Intimos de Reynoso. Salbatore Olaverrieta kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Jaen Barrallo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tavo Arrelucea in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Yanes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Intimos de Reynoso's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Isauro Caloca scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Repiso, making the score, 5-2. Martin Barreda hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Intimos de Reynoso were the better team. Intimos de Reynoso's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
