A collision led to Socavon FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Fidencio Lima hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jones Ice-Cream Guobadia during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Ortegano booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Puget didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 27th minute of the match Jones Ice-Cream Guobadia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jones Ice-Cream Guobadia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 28th minute, Jones Ice-Cream Guobadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th match minute, Deportivo Ortegano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Maxwell Ice-Cream Guobadia to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Telmo Miramontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vasco Rovira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Martin Chapado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Pamanes in the 36th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Garaile Pacio. Martin Chapado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Pamanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42ndth minute of the game Jacinto Pamanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Socavon FC's Martin Chapado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Socavon FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Javier Puget hit a great ball. After the first half Deportivo Ortegano were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Martin Chapado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Pamanes in the 54th minute. Gelmiro Bachicabo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Martin Chapado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Ortegano. Garaile Pacio charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garaile Pacio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Garaile Pacio. Sotero Besga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Martin Chapado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Socavon FC's Martin Chapado got control of the ball when Sotero Besga tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Maxwell Ice-Cream Guobadia hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's Iturri Soldevilla broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vasco Rovira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garaile Pacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Ortegano's Vasco Rovira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oxarra Guillemez in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ortegano's George Maxwell Ice-Cream Guobadia got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Sotero Besga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Gartxot Estopinal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Ortegano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
