Pär Are showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Teodori, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ercole Carulli hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Talenti Roma Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Buffone came free, but Achille Fiordelisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes Talenti Roma Calcio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aldo Amicone who took care of the corner kick. Achille Fiordelisi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Buffone went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Talenti Roma Calcio's Achille Fiordelisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örs Bruno in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Coviolo's Alessandro Buffone ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Achille Fiordelisi. Achille Fiordelisi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Achille Fiordelisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örs Bruno in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Coviolo's Ercole Carulli got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After some careless play in the Talenti Roma Calcio defense, Alessandro Buffone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Achille Fiordelisi. The Talenti Roma Calcio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Achille Fiordelisi should have stopped the shot. When Alessandro Buffone fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Buffone in the 63rd minute of play forced Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Achille Fiordelisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Coviolo got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Marzoli. Dave Paoletti was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Big Fox's late challenge caught a Talenti Roma Calcio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Big Fox helped the player get up and apologised. Talenti Roma Calcio's Concetto Lauri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Coviolo. 87 minutes into the game, Coviolo's Alessandro Buffone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Achille Fiordelisi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Achille Fiordelisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Buffone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Coviolo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
