Spectators: 191 (Terracing: 144, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) 3 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Halenár came free, but Erik Vajda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Rák in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Vajda saved ŠK Horelica from getting behind. The supporters of ŠK Horelica booed when FK Mazda Svidník was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Lukáčik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlastimil Šiška blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Takáč having to make a save. After a rather tough play, ŠK Horelica's Hubert Žebrák got a free kick in the 17th minute. Vlastimil Šiška recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 played minutes ŠK Horelica got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Schuster. 24 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Erik Vajda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jozef Meszároš. After a defensive mix-up in FK Mazda Svidník's zone, Matej Tomka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Takáč came out of the goal and Matej Tomka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlastimil Šiška to maneuver through the defense. Erik Vajda was a little too slow when Dušan Halenár got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. Štefan Škrteľ kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Ivan Takáč, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vlastimil Šiška recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Dušan Halenár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ŠK Horelica's Erik Vajda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislav Gogoľ in the 58th minute of play. Hubert Žebrák kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Michal Černoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michal Černoch took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Vajda. Erik Vajda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 67th minute, Štefan Škrteľ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Vlastimil Šiška's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Takáč was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Michal Černoch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Vajda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Gogoľ, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jozef Meszároš in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Vajda saved ŠK Horelica from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Dušan Halenár's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Vajda was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute Jozef Meszároš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vajda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dušan Halenár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes ŠK Horelica got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Žebrák. FK Mazda Svidník's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
