In the 8th minute 巩翔傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulli Hartwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulli Hartwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 巩翔傲 in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oalo Kara in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulli Hartwig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulli Hartwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 巩翔傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Henning Heringer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frerk Hentschel in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes of play, PoznanGalaxy's Peter Grommers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulli Hartwig was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Buffalo Bills defense, Peter Grommers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulli Hartwig. The Buffalo Bills fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulli Hartwig should have stopped the shot. Minda Sagaseta kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Buffalo Bills's Henning Heringer threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Klement Praski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Grommers in the 37th minute of play forced Buffalo Bills's goalkeeper Ulli Hartwig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frerk Hentschel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Henning Heringer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 40 minutes PoznanGalaxy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfred Wieczorek who took care of the corner kick. The Buffalo Bills players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PoznanGalaxy were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 巩翔傲 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Klement Praski notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer. Henning Heringer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59thth minute of the game Frerk Hentschel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If 巩翔傲 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Buffalo Bills's zone, Stuart Vöge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulli Hartwig came out of the goal and Stuart Vöge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the game, Ansyari Kapisa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buffalo Bills's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PoznanGalaxy the free kick. PoznanGalaxy's Niels Gerigk was substituted for Adam Kremers. PoznanGalaxy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oalo Kara in the 83rd minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Wyatt Snow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Stefan Makowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
