Israel Walme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ruben Sánchez made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Magic is Back's goalkeeper Ruben Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Walme. Ruben Sánchez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel Walme in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Magic is Back's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Cuarto came free, but Ruben Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Sánchez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jairo Cuarto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. Olov Bergman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ruben Sánchez came out and tried to block the shot, but Olov Bergman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 33rd minute. With an all-out effort, Black Dog F.C.'s Ruben Sánchez threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jairo Cuarto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Black Dog F.C. booed when Magic is Back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kilian Mbappè did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Ruben Sánchez 38 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Walme got free with Ruben Sánchez in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Magic is Back's Ruben Sánchez got control of the ball when Israel Walme tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 48 played minutes Black Dog F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Israel Walme. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Palermo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Ursino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Schiavi in the 51st minute. Ruben Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Cuarto in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Magic is Back's Marcelo Trobbiani got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Marcelo Trobbiani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magic is Back's Ruben Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Cuarto in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Jairo Cuarto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Sánchez. Magic is Back's Ruben Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Walme in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Black Dog F.C. defense, Osvaldo Potente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Ursino. The Black Dog F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Ursino should have stopped the shot. Ruben Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilian Mbappè in the 90th minute of play. Luis Medero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Benedicto Ursino made a huge save. Ruben Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Cuarto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Black Dog F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Magic is Back for a fine match.
