Jan Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Filipkowski in the 17th minute of the match. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Niculae Ghionea quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lukasz Gollob, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Ale Glowacz might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genzo Wakabayashi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ale Glowacz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Ale Glowacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genzo Wakabayashi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genzo Wakabayashi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto-Carlos Petrović, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Sielce Warszawa's Genzo Wakabayashi got control of the ball when Wlodzimierz Klucznik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Virgiliu Doroftei took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Basaik. Jan Basaik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
