Fractal FC's Juan Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Tipi in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Silvano Cibran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lin Yan Hong, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Leonardo Tipi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Chayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonides Jatsu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lin Yan Hong. That made the score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Lin Yan Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Jatsu in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luboš Štencl during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Les Tigres getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luboš Štencl hit a great ball.

Les Tigres's Rodolfo Luken was substituted for Silvano Ihazintu. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvano Cibran made a kick off. In the 56th minute Silvano Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lin Yan Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56thth minute of the game Silvano Cibran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Tigres's Lin Yan Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan Chayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 89th minute Paolo Ereinotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Chayo was a little too slow when Paolo Ereinotz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 2-2. A collision led to Les Tigres getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Benigno Felo hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Fractal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Ereinotz came free, but Juan Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Les Tigres supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Les Tigres would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
