Despite this Shi Jing quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 25 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Oihan Zadaya came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Delaney in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Roberto Teixeira saved Playa Malvín from getting behind. Zé Roberto Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Delaney's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The supporters of bambucha f.c booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantijn De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Delaney in the 35th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. bambucha f.c's Shi Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Åkerström in the 38th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Fred Åkerström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but bambucha f.c's Shi Jing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Åkerström in the 41st minute of play forced bambucha f.c's goalkeeper Shi Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Barton hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes, Vladimiro Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Playa Malvín and the bambucha f.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

bambucha f.c's Bordat Santibañez was substituted for Sergio Rello. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Åkerström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Fred Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Åkerström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shi Jing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Shi Jing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niva Espellosa's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Shi Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niva Espellosa in the 91st minute of play. Playa Malvín's Zuberoa Artiaga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Polenta in the 96 minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched bambucha f.c eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
