The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goi Balpuesta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elar Randala hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Escorcia in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Goi Balpuesta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrea Heraso's late challenge caught a Fohat Neyen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrea Heraso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Andrea Heraso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goi Balpuesta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 9th minute. When Andres Orlondon fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nacional's protests and gave Andres Orlondon a yellow card for diving instead. Andres Orlondon kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Fohat Neyen's Fabrizio Cauli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristiano Aveiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Goi Balpuesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 16th minute of play. Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute of the match, Stuart Mayo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Goi Balpuesta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristiano Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iruinea Llordes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Goi Balpuesta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grabiel Escorcia's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Nacional were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Fohat Neyen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andrea Heraso took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Stuart Mayo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Goi Balpuesta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nacional's Andrea Heraso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Goi Balpuesta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Denis Schnell notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro. Cristiano Aveiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristiano Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Schnell in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Fohat Neyen getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Elar Randala hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fohat Neyen's zone, Stuart Mayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goi Balpuesta came out of the goal and Stuart Mayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Grabiel Escorcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grabiel Escorcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Goi Balpuesta having to make a save. 48 minutes into the match, Grabiel Escorcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Goi Balpuesta. Fohat Neyen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grabiel Escorcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Nacional players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fohat Neyen were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iruinea Llordes made a kick off. Fabrizio Cauli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cristiano Aveiro made a huge save. Goi Balpuesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Grabiel Escorcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Goi Balpuesta was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Goi Balpuesta came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia. But to his dismay, Grabiel Escorcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 63 minutes into the game, Grabiel Escorcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Goi Balpuesta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristiano Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Cauli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goi Balpuesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Nacional got a corner. Fohat Neyen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrea Heraso ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Nacional's corner Andrea Heraso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Goi Balpuesta quite easily take care of the ball. Goi Balpuesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 72nd minute of play. Grabiel Escorcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Goi Balpuesta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Stuart Mayo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Goi Balpuesta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional. In the 80thth minute of the game Grabiel Escorcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fohat Neyen's Goi Balpuesta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Goi Balpuesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Mayo in the 84th minute of the match. Grabiel Escorcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 89th minute of play forced Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper Goi Balpuesta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Schnell in the 94th minute of play. Andres Orlondon kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nacional fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fohat Neyen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
